These illustrations were actually done while back, but were refrained from posting them up because there were still minor adjustments and needed them to be proofed.
As shown in the picture, our main colour pallet is white, a deep violet, and black. Fabric choices include lace as our detail/highlight, soft cotton/poly blend, most likely jersey fabric, and probably a silky/heavier fabric for the last dress.
The collection is comprised of 6 pieces; 4 tops and 2 dresses. As indicated by the stars, those garments do not include the bottoms or shoes. However, one of the dresses does come with the laced flower appliqué which I realized was not added on in the illustration.

Due to personal business and our time schedules not working out, we have been inactive (yet again). But today, it finalizes our determination to continue this on! Another splurge of the year before Christmas and my birthday aside from the Wacom Tablet, a $223.99 splurge too might I add.
We both purchased one on an impulsive buy after comparing pricing at a few places, and are excited to get things started, finally.

I know it may seem like we’ve been inactive on the blog for a bit, but we have been holding our regular meetings, nothing really new happened that was worth posting, aside from checking out fabrics and maybe investing in a sewing machine soon.
On a happy side note, my tablet just came in!! Waited for this baby for 8days. I promised last week, that our illustrations for our coming collection would be up by this week, however, that was having my tablet arrive on time. Seeing as how it only came in today, I’ll try my best and have the illustrations up by the end of THIS week. Promised.

Went to the Olympic superstore opening today. It was awesome. Saw some Olympians, mascots and …….. BENJAMIN THE BUTLER!.. best accent ever. we even got free coke for getting our cards signed by Olympians.. you all definitely should go check it out. Nice layout.. great atmosphere!

Currently thinking about our collection for winter / spring. So much ideas yet so much time needed to put in this project. Maybe even making it before Nov.5 to show at PARADOX fashion show. Excited? For sure we’re excited. Hope its gonna work out. stay tune!

Even though it was last night, I still felt like posting it up to advertise this place cause it’s really good. Both of us went to eat ramen with two other at Benkei downtown after our meeting, then headed towards Richmond for the nightmarket. Even though it wasn’t as busy and exciting as it was few weeks back, maybe because it was freezing last night and it’s drawing to an end, we still ended up finding good bargains for food since we went so late.
Was a good night, as promised, I will try and get the picture up as soon as possible, along with our objective and summaries.

First meeting under the name t o a s t. We’ll try and keep it a weekly meeting, every Sunday, having posts and updates regarding our activity.
We achieved, through many detours, our ‘Coming Soon’ logo, objective, and mini ideas for our coming collections. Hopefully we can get that up by tonight.
